ColorOS 12, Oppo’s Android 12-based operating system, was announced in October 2021, and we now know when it will be available. On Oppo’s community forum, a new, more thorough list was posted, which included both beta and stable release dates, as well as the devices and regions that will be covered.
In February, Oppo will release Color OS 12 beta for the Reno5 F, Reno4, Reno4 F, F19 Pro, and F17 Pro phones, starting with the beta rollout timetable.
Color OS 12 beta will be available in March for the Reno5 Lite, Reno4 Pro 5G, Reno4 Z 5G, Reno4 Lite, A94, A93, and A53s 5G.
Users in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom can expect the firmware upgrade for their Find X3 Pro phones this month, based on the stable ColorOS 12 build. Owners of the Find X3 Neo 5G in France can expect the firmware update on January 17, while users of the Oppo A73 5G in Italy and Spain will have to wait until January 20.
Other devices being updated by Oppo include the Find X3 Pro 5G, Find X2 Pro, Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition, Find X2, Reno6 Pro, Reno6 Pro Diwali Edition, Reno6 5G, and Reno5 Pro 5G.
Reno5 5G is expected to join the list in Hong Kong and China on January 17, followed by Reno6 Z 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, Reno5 Pro, Reno5 Z 5G, and F19 Pro+ in certain regions on January 18. The Oppo A73 5G will be available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia starting January 20.
