Realme 9 released with 108MP camera, Realme GT2 Pro also launches in India. The fight between 5G and 4G hasn’t been resolved yet. It is expected that 5G will triumph at some point However, for now it’s worth noting that the cost of the modem will mean that you’ll miss out on some of the benefits. Are you using 5G in your area and do you believe it’s worth the cost?
With the new Realme 9 may have you saying “no”. Do not confuse it with the 5G Realme. The two are different, however they are both related. To begin with, the latest model comes with a phone with 4G powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor instead of the Dimensity 810.
Both are chips with 6 nanometers however the 680 features older processing cores (based on Cortex-A73 and A53 in comparison A75 and A75 as well as A55) as well as an inferior Adreno 610 GPU.

The less efficient chipset leaves space in the budget for some improvements. For instance it is equipped with 8GB in RAM (the 5G model has four and six GB). Realme UI can add 5 GB of virtual memory to this.
The biggest change however, is the 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 sensor that is used for primary camera (this is the first phone with this sensor HM6). It comes with a new NonaPixel Plus 9-to-1 pixel binning technology (1.92 um effective size of pixel). The new technology promises an increase of 123% in light gathering capability as compared to the prior sensors.
