Sony announces PlayStation Plus subscription service with three tiers. Sony has revealed a major update to the service. It is now available online as the PlayStation Plus service, which will now include new levels that will provide a collection of games for users to install and enjoy, along with integration of its cloud-based PlayStation Now service.
The first level is PlayStation Plus Essential, which is like the current PlayStation Plus service. This will include all of the same benefits, including two monthly games that can be downloaded and online multiplayer access cloud saves, as well as discounts. Pricing will remain the same: $10 monthly, $25 every quarter and $60 per year.
All current PlayStation Plus users will be moved to this level. The next level is where the fun begins. It’s called PlayStation Plus Extra, this level offers all the advantages from the Basic tier.
